Fitment notes

The questions that come in most.

Do they work with 10-round mags in capacity restricted states?

Yes, XGRIPs work with 10-round mags, providing increased grip surface on a compact or sub-compact pistol.

Does it change anything about the pistol?

No. The adapter fits the magazine, not the gun. Nothing is drilled, cut or replaced.

What if I want my XGRIP to be more permanent?

We recommend a small dab of silicone on either side of the magazine where the adapter seats. Silicone will not harm your XGRIP or magazine.

Will it fit a pistol that is not listed?

Only the combinations in the finder have been tested. Some unlisted ones will physically work but we cannot guarantee fitment. Send us a note with your pistol and magazine and we will say what we know.

Can I use an aftermarket magazine?

Adapters are cut to OEM magazine dimensions. Aftermarket bodies vary, sometimes by enough to matter.

Can I clean it with solvent?

No. Over time, solvent will break down the polymer.

What if it breaks?

If it’s defective, we replace it free and cover the shipping. Normal wear and age aren’t covered. See the warranty.
