How it works

Three adapter styles.

An XGRIP is cut to a height that lets the magazine seat deep enough to chamber cleanly, and stops it there. A magazine driven past that point can damage itself and the pistol.

  1. One-piece slide-on

Slide the XGRIP over the magazine until the floorplate seats firmly against it. Squeeze the sides to seal against the magazine tube. To remove, squeeze front to back to collapse the rear pocket, then slide it up and off.

  2. One-piece snap-on

Slide the XGRIP over the magazine, invert it, and rest one side over the edge of a table. Push down on the center of the floorplate to snap that side over, then rotate and snap the other. To remove, press one side against a flat surface to unsnap it, rotate, and unsnap the other.

  3. Two-piece

Slide the front half over the magazine with the floorplate seated at the base of the adapter. Slide the rear cap over the back, inserting the tabs into the slots until the two halves snap together. To remove, press the release button on each side and reverse the order.
