The XGS320/250C slides over a full-size factory SIG P320 or P250 magazine and seats it in the Compact. In 9mm that is the 17-round magazine in place of the 15.
On its own, the longer SIG magazine leaves a step below the frame. The XGRIP fills it, drawn to the SIG's own grip lines so it looks like part of the pistol. Its shape is based on the anthropometrics of the hand and wrist, giving the little finger a full surface to hold instead of an edge.
It is cut to seat the magazine at the right depth, and no deeper. Nothing on the pistol is drilled, cut or replaced. Made for factory SIG magazines.
